Andy Tsai Endodontics | BDSc (Hons.) DClinDent (Endodontics)
Dr Andy Tsai graduated from the University of Queensland with First Class Honours and practiced as a general dentist in both metropolitan and regional Queensland for close to a decade.
With a strong interest in Endodontics, Andy returned to the University of Queensland to complete his specialist training with a Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Endodontics). This allowed Andy to register as an endodontist with the Dental Board. An endodontist is a specialist dentist who has spent an additional three years of full-time training in the field of endodontics in addition to their initial dental degree and restricts his practice to areas concerning the dental pulp (nerve space).
During his post-graduate training, Andy authored and published peer-reviewed journal articles on the use of laser fluorescence technology in Endodontics.
Andy is an active member of the Australian Dental Association, the Australian Society of Endodontology, the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Endodontists and various study clubs in Brisbane. He is committed to staying abreast with the latest advancements in endodontics and ensuring that his patients receive the very-best results.
Andy was born in Taiwan and is fluent in both English and Mandarin. In his spare time, he enjoys participating at the local ParkRun, staying fit and wetting a line at the local jetties.
